The Craps Lesson Newsletter Vol XXXI, Issue I
December 2008

Dear Craps Enthusiasts,

Well folks, business has been a little slow lately. It's sort of strange actually. I like to go downstairs into the casino and walk around sometime between 3am and 5am; it seems as if you have Vegas to yourself. Is that ever true, these days?!

On several occasions recently, there has been hardly anyone at all on the entire casino floor. Now granted, it's a weekday, but I've never seen entire parking lots so void of cars at major casinos. I suppose the fact is the economy is affecting all of us.

It seems like an excellent time to take a break for a little while. So this trip will be my farewell excursion until I am requested to be here with greater regularity. This trip really has been the perfect departing project though. I played with two couples, while teaching them the ins and outs at the craps table, and we all had a wonderful time each time.

My first appointment was with a couple from Washington. He is an elk hunter, so of course we hit it off right off the bat, and his wife was perfectly delightful, so the entire situation seemed destined for success. It was: we played for several hours, they learned the necessary ingredients to play the game the best way, plus we had a lot of fun and even won a couple thousand. I even came away with a new friend and elk hunting partner! It couldn't possibly get any better than that.

My second lesson, the next day, was with a couple from South Carolina. (Look for their testimonial is in this newsletter.) Years ago I had lived in the little community where they live now, so that reconstructed many pleasant memories for me from the beginning. Both of them were about equally interested in the playing procedure, so that set the stage for an interesting process. We all had a lot of fun along the way.

As with everyone who comes to me for a personal craps lesson, they came away with a complete understanding of what to do, along with why they're doing it, in an endeavor to extract a tidy sum of money from the casino. And as luck would have it, we did win several thousand during the process of the whole learning procedure. We laughed a lot along the way, too.

Both couples told me that they would write their own accounts of the events that had taken place and send them to Margaret so she could add them to our testimonials. Personally, I would like to thank all of them for my own enjoyment throughout the duration of it all.

Speaking of points on a personal note, I'd like to tell you about what's going to be happening with me in the near future, because it may be of great interest to you.

In the past, several people have expressed an interest in me being available in other areas of the country, where it would be a little easier for them to take an advanced craps lesson. Well, for now, I will be.

Presently, my mother is not in the best of health, so I will be spending some time with her in Charleston, West Virginia. There is a casino there. So if you live anywhere in the vicinity, and would like to come there for a personal lesson, please call Margaret and she'll get us set up.

Also, for those of you in the Florida area, I will be there later in the winter because I need to go to the Keys to finish a different book that has been patiently awaiting my arrival there for several years now.

And don't forget about Margaret. She's always there to take your phone calls or e-mails regarding how you can upgrade your play in order to start understanding how to get a large amount of those casino's chips from their side of the table over into your rack!

Well folks, that about wraps up this story for the time being. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call Margaret.

Good Luck and Best Wishes,

Gene Robinson

Our Newest Testimonial

We were the true non-believers of the non-believers!

We bought the book in 2007 and finally got the courage to give it a shot in 2008. We contacted the craps teacher and to set up our appointment to let the dice roll. We met with Gene at Bally's at 10:30 a.m. We talked and went over strategies about playing craps and had a wonderful conversation, but we know that proof in in the pudding. So we headed to the craps table to put Gene's theory to a test.

We were amazed at how well his theory works. We set there and played until 4:00 p.m. and walked away with $4600.00. We got our initial bankroll of $1600.00 back, which left $3000 to split.

Gene showed us a great time, and I would highly recommend contacting him or buying his book. We are very satisfied and pleased with the results.

Thank you,

Susan and Tim from South Carolina

So if you like what Gene has to say about craps, we are sure you'll love The Search. Here's a quick summary for you:

In an age preoccupied with people, places and things, we sometimes lose ourselves and forget about The Search. On a day like any other, Gene is swimming laps when he realizes that he is not alone. The stranger disappears, only to come back the next day. When Gene confronts him he meets Ti, who says he is the embodiment of truth and imagination and an extension of Gene's higher-self. Needless to say, Gene is a bit surprised to meet his higher-self in person, but Ti convinces Gene that they need to spend some time together.

They end up on a journey of cross-country travel that frees them up to talk, think, laugh and discuss the meaningful points of life along the way.

Their dialectical relationship explores the rights and wrongs of human thinking, and how simple things could be if people would use their time wisely in a way that is meaningful to themselves instead of blindly acting in a manner that they think society expects of them.

In Gene's quest for personal meaning and fulfillment, a message is revealed that will affect the life on anyone who is prepared to listen, think and learn again to believe.
